Anil Oza is a general assignment reporter at STAT. He was formerly the 2024-2025 Sharon Begley Science Reporting Fellow and a spring 2023 "Color Code" intern. He previously covered all things science, from grassroots efforts to study the effect of urban heat to the elusiveness of urban rats, for NPR's Short Wave, Science News, and Science.
