Amanda Erickson is a news editor at STAT. She previously worked as an editor at The Washington Post, where she led a team of reporters stationed across the country. At The Post, Amanda also covered international affairs and edited essays for the Outlook section. She has helped launch new local news sites at the American Journalism Project and completed a post-bacc certificate program at Johns Hopkins, where she deepened her health and science expertise through courses in biology, chemistry, and statistics.
