The average chief executive brought home $11 million, while the median was $4.1 million. Those figures compared to an average of $13 million and median of $4.3 million in 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even in a down year, the median health care CEO made 51 times the median American household income, which was around <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.census.gov\/library\/publications\/2024\/demo\/p60-282.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">$81,000 in 2023<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
