My colleague Adam Feuerstein and I spent the day yesterday listening to the FDA advisory committee meeting on Lilly\u2019s Alzheimer\u2019s candidate. Read on for the outcome of the meeting, and also, who\u2019s behind yet another new obesity startup.<\/p>\n<h2>The need-to-know this morning<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The FDA\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipsen.com\/press-releases\/ipsens-iqirvo-receives-u-s-fda-accelerated-approval-as-a-first-in-class-ppar-treatment-for-primary-biliary-cholangitis\/?utm_campaign=the_readout&amp;utm_source=hs_email&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;_hsenc=p2ANqtz-_tcc_WmA6BF6hmWCCqcdLUguWwdIjbl55Tcx96bmyBmuQu-K793iDGGyd-01lHi0upRJDA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-hs-link-id=\"0\">approved a new drug<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0Ipsen\u00a0and\u00a0Genfit\u00a0to treat primary biliary cholangitis, a rare liver disease.
