Since rumors of this possible meeting began circulating, observers have been waiting anxiously for more information. It’s been seen as a likely first clear (or at least clearer) signal of how Kennedy might try to push the FDA to reduce oversight of cell therapies, particularly adult stem cells sold by unproven clinics.
