The Next Ten Years

The pace of science over the past decade has been stunning. CRISPR went from discovery to treatment. Cancer immunotherapy became ubiquitous. Breakthroughs changed everything from cystic fibrosis to the treatment of autoimmune disease. And with that came our publication, founded in 2015.

At this year’s STAT Summit, we’ll gather the most important voices from our first decade to help figure out what will happen next: in science, in medicine, and in the political and social climate that shapes both. Already, there are changes in medicine that would have been hard to imagine. AI is changing everything from doctor’s visits to drug discovery. There is an obesity drug revolution. We’ll start with what’s happening now, and plan for what’s next. Join us to catalyze the next revolutions in medicine.
