Kathleen Burge

Kathleen Burge is a contributing editor at STAT, where she edits First Opinion commentaries. She has also worked at Harvard Public Health Magazine, WBUR’s Cognoscenti, and the Boston Globe, where she was a reporter for 15 years. In 2018, she wrote about palliative care as a national reporting fellow at the Association of Health Care Journalists. She studied literature and environmental studies at Dartmouth College.
